June 2023 Newsletter

Hello friends and welcome to our June 2023 Newsletter. June has been such a busy month for us that this newsletter just about scrapes in on the final day of the month! As ever we hope there is something of interest for you and we’d also like to thank you all for your continued support.

NEW WHOLESALE PARTNER

Yet another restaurant has joined the V.C.C. family – this time it’s the Hello Oriental foodhall in Manchester. With 3 types of cuisine available (Asian streetfood, Vietnamese and a Chinese bakery) there’s sure to be something for everyone. But that’s not all, there is also an Oriental supermarket for you to try and recreate the dishes that you enjoyed in the foodhall at home! With our ever growing list of cafes and restaurants you should be able to find somewhere nearby that serves our delicious coffee, whether you are in London, Belfast, Manchester, Birmingham or Edinburgh plus we have 1 or 2 others in the pipeline….

We are continually trying to find ways of making your online shopping experience with us even smoother. To that end we have been working hard to introduce more handy features to the site. If you have visited in the last couple of days you should have noticed some changes (if you haven’t been in a while, now’s the time to stock up!) We have introduce a “floating” cart menu to the right of our shop page and added a Paypal button to make it even easier to checkout. There are a few other changes we intend to make in the future and we hope to update you about hem in our next newsletter.

UPCOMING HOLIDAYS

There will be a slight delay to orders being delivered over the 12th & 13th July as it is a Public Holiday (Battle of The Boyne) here in Northern Ireland on both these dates. Our delivery partner (Yodel) will have no collections on those days so we recommend ordering earlier so that you don’t run out. We also hope to be able to switch on our E.U. orders again using a different carrier (not Royal Mail like before!!) We’ll let you know when it’s live again as I know plenty of customers have been left disappointed that they can no longer order from us due to the ongoing problems.

Peace and love,

Martin & Gary
